About Me
My name is Xiping Huang. You can call me Tracy. I came to the United States in 2000. I live in Queens. I speak Chinese and a little English.
I am a housewife. I like shopping. But I don’t like to cook. I don't like to stay home all the time. I want to work. But I have to improve my English first. Without fluent English, nobody will hire me. I am taking an ESL class which meets twice a week. My classmates are all Chinese. They all work hard at their English. I also have a nice teacher.
I have two children, a boy and a girl .My daughter Ashley is almost 10. She is in Grade 4 now and is doing well in all subjects. She is also a good chess player. Everybody in her class says she is smart. She also likes sports. My son is nearly 7. He is in Grade 2. He is busy all day long and never stops moving around.
Sometimes they teach me English. But it is hard for me to learn. I send them to school every weekday morning and pick them up from school in the afternoon. On Saturday, I send them to a Chinese School. But they don’t like to learn Chinese. I told them it is very important for their future. On Sunday, we go shopping and have dinner at restaurants.
I have a great family and we enjoy our life here.
